Getting Closer…
Yep it was one year ago today on a farm somewhere in Indiana, a polar bear gave birth to the biggest baby on the planet. A few short weeks later that baby polar bear came to live with us, and we called him JD. Since that time he has increased in size from just 6 lbs to 85 lbs, eats more then a horse, and walks around like a bull in a china shop. But he is cute, and his brother and sister seem to like him, so we keep him. Happy Birthday JD!

All floating houses have one thing in common, they float. Some say it is witchcraft, others think it has to do with global warming, I now know the truth. The truth is a nice guy I like to call Scuba Steve comes to your house and puts a giant magic black box under the house and… ummmm… well it just works.
See Tom has been working at a little project at the floating house adding another bedroom. Well apparently when you add all that weight to a structure that floats on magic black boxes, it can make the house sink a little lower and lower into the water. To the point that when you add a “stocky” fella such as myself, the deck becomes even with the water. Hence the need to have Scuba Steve come out and put another magic box under the house.

I got some great pictures forwarded to me from this past weekend at the lake. Looks like Cole finally got his chance to try out the wakeboard. Here is a sweet picture and a video Kathy sent over. Good job Cole!!!
Big weekend here for me and Erin. I have been on vacation all week and had a nice big list of things I wanted to do. Stuff like go to the Zoo, check out that Bodies exhibit at the museum, play some RockBand, all sorts of good stuff. So along comes Friday night and Erin and I sit down to plan my big Vacation weekend and guess what “we” decided on…. YARD WORK!
Yep, the boss lady laid down the law and off we went. Front yard, side yard, back yard, and a sweet new deal for the deck. Hit the jump and check out the pictures, just disregard the condition of the deck. See ya~
