Baby Watch – Week #28
Feb 17th 2010AdamBaby Updates
Welcome to Baby Watch for week #28! After a couple of rough weeks Erin is feeling much better and her and baby are doing just fine. We had another doctors appointment last week (they come every two weeks now), and even the doctors agree that everyone is doing fine. The baby is moving like crazy and is to the point now that if your looking at the right spot, at the right time, you can actually see it on the outside of her belly. It is an odd sight, but pretty cool.
Other then that things are going smooth, but slow. Not much going on for the next few weeks. The next big thing we have coming up is our prenatal class but that is not for another couple of weeks. Otherwise it is just the regular boring doctors appointments. I keep asking Erin if the baby can please come out and play now, but she just keeps saying no. Boring!
Here is what the baby site has to say for week #28~
Baby’s Growth and Development at 28 Weeks Pregnant
During the 28th week of pregnancy, your baby wants to see what’s going on in his environment.
- Your baby is about 10 inches long — roughly the length of an average zucchini. He weighs about 2 pounds.
- His brain develops and expands.
- Your baby may open his eyes in utero.
- More fat accumulates under his skin.
- He continues to take 20- to 30-minute naps with some routine.
Size of a Zucchini and 20-30 minute naps, sounds like the life to me! Roll on week #29…

Adamon 18 Feb 2010 at 5:34 pm 2I guess! It is really killing me not to look ahead on the baby site and see what food is coming up! Where will it top out at! I can’t take it! lol
