Need to get someone a gift? Have a gift you would like to get?

Well, here you go. Kathy had a great idea of creating a Gift Registry. Basically a way for people to list things they would like to get as gifts. Then when it comes time for people to buy someone a gift for Birthdays, Christmas, etc. People can come and see what that person would like by looking at their Gift Registry. Simply click the persons name to the left and a window will pop up with the items on the Registry, complete with pictures and links. Please keep in mind, the links are provided to give people a place to look at the items in more detail. It does not mean you must or should buy the item from the store linked. Many of the items can be found at local stores or other web sites with better prices. The link I provide is just there to help show what the item is.

Ideally this would be a totally automated process, complete with links to stores where the items could be purchased from. Allowing people to add, modify, remove, items form their registry as they see fit. Sadly this is WAY out of my league at this point in time. I will have to do a lot more reading in order to make this happen. I also checked into having a professional do such a site for us. But that was very costly and would not be up and running for 6 months to a year. So in the mean time, I will do it the long way.

So, how do you add stuff or modify your registry. Simply fill out the form by clicking the link to the right. I will then make the changes to your registry ASAP. Please include as many details as you feel necessary to help people shopping for you make sure they get the right item. Things like model numbers, colors, sizes, etc. are good things to include. It would also be very helpful if you can include a link to a web site that has the item.
